Queer Strength Club
Queer Strength Club is a place for you to show up exactly as you are, to find confidence in a gym environment and build a supportive community.
I designed this class for the LGBTQIA+ people to have fun, get strong, be affirmed and improve their mental health, while connecting to community.
I set up Queer Strength Club because hardly any spaces like this exist. For many LGBTQIA+ people there are significant barriers to accessing wellbeing spaces.
This club is entirely different. It welcomes every body even if you've never stepped into a class or gym before, it's neurodivergent friendly, accessible and adaptable to suit your needs.
Join us and feel the impact on your mood, mental health and relationship with exercise.

We're in the main gym. Head downstairs, then go left past the two picnic benches, turn left again and through the double doors ahead of you. You'll then be able to go down a short ramp into the main gym space. There is a flight of stairs as you enter the building, with a wheelchair platform lift.
